Who works on the projects?
Every project is researched, written, and reviewed by a licensed Florida attorney. Our paralegal supports intake, exhibits, and scheduling, but never the legal work itself.
What kind of work do you handle?
We research and write for attorneys at the trial and appellate levels: appellate briefs and writ petitions, motions and responses, pleadings and discovery, and legal research memoranda. We also offer flat-fee Case Strategy Audits and Appeal Evaluations, plus hearing and deposition coverage and mediation support. We work across civil practice areas, including family law, insurance, personal injury, real estate, foreclosure, HOA disputes, commercial and contract disputes, construction, employment, and probate and trust. We do not handle criminal matters.
Will my client know you were involved?
No. We work behind the scenes and communicate with your client only if you ask us to. The work product is yours.
How fast can you turn around a project?
It depends on the project and your filing deadline, but our normal turnaround is 5 business days or less. Whatever the timeline, we deliver with enough time for you to review the draft, request changes, and review the revised version before you file. Tell us your deadline when you reach out, and we'll confirm a delivery date before we begin. If you need something sooner, we offer a priority rate for tight deadlines. See Rates & FAQ.
How is pricing set?
Flat fees for the Case Strategy Audit ($600) and the Appeal Evaluation ($1,500). Briefs, motions, and research are billed hourly ($200 per hour standard, $275 per hour appellate), and you receive an estimate before work begins. If you have ongoing needs, our Preferred Client Rate gives you a reduced hourly rate for steady volume, plus priority scheduling. See Rates & FAQ.
Can I bill my client for your work?
Yes. Many attorneys bill our work to their clients as part of their legal fees, often at a higher rate than they pay us. In Formal Opinion 08-451, the ABA confirmed that a firm may add a surcharge to outsourced legal work billed as legal fees, provided the total charge is a reasonable fee for the services. But if you work on contingency, no markup is allowed. The opinion also notes you may need to tell your client about the outsourcing, and in some cases get their consent, so check the rules in your jurisdiction.
Do you use AI?
Yes, as a tool, never as the primary author. We've developed our own rules and instructions for how AI is used in our work, and an attorney verifies every citation, quotation, and legal proposition against the original source before anything reaches you. We also always conduct our own independent research on a trusted legal research platform. The analysis and strategy are ours, and every document is reviewed, edited, and finalized by an attorney before it goes out. AI helps us work faster; it doesn't replace our judgment.
