We are a team of three dedicated attorneys with nearly 30 years of combined experience. Our legal experience spans across multiple areas of law including commercial litigation, family law, personal injury, constitutional law, government law, real estate litigation, and many other nuanced fields.

HI I’M SAHILY!
I’m a licensed Florida attorney with a passion for excellent legal research and writing.
I obtained my J.D. from Nova Southeastern University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in the top 2% of my class.
Before exclusively dedicating myself to research and writing, I practiced civil litigation in South Florida. During that time and during the years of helping lawyers with legal research and writing, I have gained considerable experience researching and drafting motions, responses, memoranda, trial briefs, appellate briefs, complaints, and answers.
Under the surface, is a natural curiosity for why things are the way they are. I’ve been this way for as long as I can remember, and my family would agree that I’ve always had a need to “know stuff.” This, combined with the fact that I have a knack for writing, makes me perfectly fitted for a legal writer. It’s hard to explain, without giving you a fully-briefed memo, just how satisfying it is to get to the bottom of an issue.

I’m a New York and Florida licensed attorney who loves legal research and writing.
Prior to working for Sahily, I practiced in civil litigation, worked as a judicial staff attorney for circuit court judges, and served as the lead appellate brief writer for a litigation support firm.
I enjoy crafting persuasive arguments for my clients and strive to do it better than anyone else.
I am a firm believer that exhaustive legal research is the key to success. Very often the difference between winning and losing a motion hinges on thorough research. If there is authority that supports a position, I will find it.
I could happily spend my weekends surfing Westlaw but am more likely to be at the beach enjoying beautiful Florida.

HELLO! I’M SAMANTHA.
I have been a litigation and appellate attorney since 2014, practicing in foreclosure defense, debt defense, and family law.
After taking a year off to focus on being a parent, I joined Eximius in July of 2021.
Since joining Eximius, I have been working almost exclusively on appeals with legal issues including arbitration, personal injury, wrongful death, real property, and many other areas of law.

I am a litigation and appellate attorney with over a decade of experience practicing in Florida county and circuit courts. I joined Eximius in February of 2023 after several years of
successfully managing a division of a mid-sized Florida civil litigation firm. I missed the
challenge of actively litigating complex cases, and I’m glad to be back doing what I always
enjoyed doing the most in my profession.
I take a critical and thoughtful approach to each case that I work on. I understand that no two cases are exactly alike and that attention to detail often makes the difference in outcomes. Because of my unique experience both proactively litigating and carefully defending civil cases, I am able to take a comprehensive approach to litigation that maximizes results and minimizes risk.
I regularly confer with clients on matters I am actively working on to make sure that cases are progressing on schedule, particularly in light of the stringent Florida case management orders. I have the time and expertise to take the elusive “30,000-foot view” of your case and figure out what needs to be done to try to achieve the best possible outcome.
I am available for legal research and writing (trial and appellate), taking and defending
depositions, and court hearing coverage. I also consult law firms regarding matters of workflow organization and structure.
